Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Court Mediation Training

MATRIX Training Institute is pleased to announce its upcoming Circuit Court Mediation Training Course.

This program will be conducted via ZOOM video conferencing, over two weekends.

October 26th, 27th and November 1st, 2nd & 3rd, 2024

8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily

Registration Fee: $1,200.00

Early Registration Special: $795.00

(must register before October 6th)

Throughout this 40-Hour course, qualified trainers Rodney Romano, Primary Trainer and Alex Romano, Assistant Trainer will use lectures, videos, Q&A, practice role playing, and critiqued role playing all designed to develop your understanding and skills as a Circuit Civil Mediator. Curriculum includes but is not limited to:

Court Processes
Mediator Ethics and Confidentiality
Special issues concerning Pro Se participants
Mediator Certification and Discipline
Running a mediation practice – methods, options, rate setting, etc.
Negotiation skills
Dealing with attorneys in mediation
Mediating in Difficult Situations

Preparing Mediated Settlement Agreements
Navigating Through Virtual Mediations

The Mediation Training Institute’s Circuit Court Mediation Training Course has been approved by the Florida Bar for 48 CLE credits, Including 5.5 hours of Ethics, 1.0 hour of Professionalism, and 3.0 hours of Technology. This does not include and we do not provide the required observations.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations with less than a 10 day notice will be responsible for 100% of the original training fee. Cancellations with more than 10 days’ notice will be responsible for 25% of the original training fee or you may choose to apply tuition toward future trainings with MATRIX Training Institute. Appeals for waiving of cancellation fees due to emergencies will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. If you do not show up and attend the 5 day class you will forfeit your fee. A minimum enrollment is required, if not met, this will lead to postponement of training dates, in which case students may choose to put previously collected tuition toward future MTI trainings or can request a full refund of tuition.
